The Sign of the Roaring Lion

The Sign of the Roaring Lion is a social club for like-minded 18^th century re-enactors, musicians, friends, and family in New England. We are established to learn songs, games and pastimes and work to have fun in a historically accurate manner and setting. We dress in the fashions of 1775 of all social classes. This is intended as a fun social club for like minded fellows and ladies to join us in our "Jollies".

We are also a Tory group, affiliated with the 4^th Foot, or King's Own Light Infantry of Boston Garrison. This means that we are loyal to our King George and proud of it. Much of the music reflects our loyalites. However, we will accept provincials and Whigs.

We have social gatherings as often as possible where there will be singing, carousing, playing of games, and just regular fun in a family friendly atmosphere. We invite spouses, children, friends, and the general public to attend. In the near future, we will be having full-fledged tavern impressions throughout New England.
