Ready for an adventure? Sign-Up! for the King's Own! We are seeking a few good men and women (and children) to make our group historically accurate. Roles include officers, non-commissioned officers, privates, distaff, and camp followers. Women and children are very important too! While many in the King's Own were unmarried, others had family traveling and living with them as was the custom in the 18th Century military.
The 4 th wants more friends to join in the fun with us, and all our members are here to help you learn how. Everyone has their own reasons to be involved, but we all welcome the chance to assist you as you learn about U.S. History and Historical Re-enacting. The 4 th is very good at being upfront about basic requirements and costs. And we consider safety just as important as having a good time. We also offer a no-cost trial period where you can find out if the King's Own is for you.
